Need :: Systems Engineer
Location: Somerset, NJ
Duration: 6 months
Pay Rate: 50.00 C2C max
Description:
· Engineer, research and design architecture for one or more of the following platforms:
· Window-based OS?s, mid-range based system, storage area network, desktop technologies, and/or messaging and collaborative computing environment.
· Define, document and implement processes and procedures for supporting client / server technologies.
· For each supported platform, provide internal consulting to project architects, define standards, policies and support proof of concept efforts.
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent maybe needed and minimum of 7+ years experience in the field or in a related area.
· Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
· Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
· Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
· May lead and direct the work of others.
· Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
· A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

· Engineering On-Call and problem escalation
· Coordinate and manage any upcoming changes (storage,servers, upgrades)
· Environment preparation for the migration (cleanups, reviews)
· Domino server 8.5 testing and implementation (as needed)
