Position: Functional BI Consultant
Buffalo, NY
3 - 6 Months Contract
Need Local Face 2 Face Interview

 

Must-haves
8-10 years overall IT experience
5+ years functional BI consulting experience (Cognos, qlikview, information builder, etc)
heavy data analytics experience (datamart, data strategies, writing reports, etc)
compliance background in the banking industry
Willing to work with offshore teams
Good communication
Willingness to travel once a month (about 30% travel)

 

Plusses
Datamart build out experience
Microsoft Visio
Excel Macros

 

Role
This person will be coming in at the beginning of a major project this client is undertaking. They will be at the start of a new Datamart build out. They will be brought in to

requirements, deliver estimates, assess tools, scope out the project with the business and technical teams, etc. They are looking for someone with a compliance background in the banking industry.
