Title: Java Developer

Location: New York, NY

Duration: 8 Months

 

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.

·         Minimum of 4 years experience as described in the OGS Labor Category Descriptions' Job Classification/Title for Project Manager II and Programmer/Analyst II and Specialist II.

·         Experience must include Java skills (JFC/Swing, AWT, Applets, JavaBeans, JMS, JavaMail, RMI, Servlets, JSP, EJB, JNDI, JMS, JDBC, SOAP, Multi-threading, Java Networking, Socket Programming, JUnit)

·         Experience must include Web/Application Servers (Apache, Jakarta Tomcat, Bea WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, JBoss, Resin).

·         Experience must include thorough knowledge of DB2 and SQL Server.

·         Experience must include an active participation in the development of large applications.

·         Experience must include User interface design and implementation.

·         Experience must include knowledge of OLE programming and multimedia programming (image and audio) is strongly desired.

 

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE : -

·         Good English verbal and writing, communication, analytical, collaboration skills and should be a team player.
