REQUIRED SKILLS

• Analysis of complex business problems with recommendations for BI products to improve decision-making; supporting process models, swimlane diagrams, use cases data, models Business intelligence requirements – computation algorithms, report specifications, dashboard designs.
• BI Test plans
• Metadata documentation using Cognos Framework Manager
• Cognos 10 standard and ad hoc reports and dashboards
• Utilize Cognos 10 Report, Query, Analysis and Event Studios to produce BI products
• Utilize Cognos 10 Framework Mgr to define data sources and metadata
• Utilize Cognos 10 Transformer to design and build data cubes
• Design business intelligence dashboards
• Work with source system DBAs and SMEs to map data source
• 5 plus years full time Business Intelligence analysis experience
• 3 plus years experience using Cognos 8 or higher
• Familiarity with SQL, dimensional modeling, star schema modeling, cube design
• Dashboard design experience
