Position: Quality Assurance Test Engineer - Digital Sport Quality Assurance
Location : Beaverton,OR
Duration:6+ months
Skills/Roles Required For This Position
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other relevant subject area.
· Interest and experience in manual and automated testing of CE (consumer electronics devices) such as iPods or other personal electronic devices and the WWW sites the devices sync with. This position will focus on CE devices that collect sports-related data.
· Strong analysis skills necessary to develop high quality test plans and generate useful and relevant test data.
· Demonstrated ability to design, implement and enforce software quality processes and standards.
· Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work with onshore/offshore teams and communicate in-person and using virtual communication tools (phone conferencing and online meetings).
Skills/Roles Desired For This Position
(Note: I'm looking for the right person for the job with the needed skills and am not as concerned with number of years of experience. A talented "junior" candidate, potentially even right out of university, could potentially fill the role, though industry and QA experience would be a plus.)
· 4 years of professional experience in IT or business.
· 2 years of additional relevant professional experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
· 2 years hands-on experience testing Consumer Electronics devices.
· Experience authoring comprehensive test plans and test scripts.
