MicroStrategy Analyst  - Works with Keane Onsite Architect and Data Modeler

·       Perform  development and unit testing

MICROSTRATEGY ARCHITECT

looking for a MicroStrategy professional with experience in reporting best practices and a strong background in Data Warehouses. The candidate will be responsible for developing innovative BI reporting solutions and should be results oriented with a focus on high quality, timeliness and scalability.

Strong Hands-on experience in MicroStrategy Suite of products, preferably MicroStrategy 8.x (At least 4 years). Knowledge of MicroStrategy 9.x is a plus.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Design and develop complex reporting, dashboards to meet the business requirements

·       Partner with business operational personnel to define requirements and reporting specifications.

·       Responsible for MicroStrategy data model design and maintenance.   

·       Work with the ETL team and business operational teams to understand data sources and implement new requirements.

·       Ability to guide clients in aspects of MicroStrategy schema work, security setup, MicroStrategy report building, advanced metric creations,

·       Experience on optimizing report SQL using VLDB settings

·       Familiarity with MicroStrategy Administrative tasks, governing, tweaking settings on I server for optimal performance, Web Administration Settings.

·       Good Communication Skills, ability to articulate technical development to non technical folks.

·       Expertise in:

o   Desktop

o   Enterprise Manager

o   Command Manager

o   Object Manager

o   Intelligence Server

o   Web Server

 

Requirements:
  7+ years any BI reporting experience and Data Warehouse development. 
  4+ years MicroStrategy Tools experience.
