Management (BPM) / Workflow Applications and will need to work with various
internal groups to generate detailed Use Cases in an Agile Iterative model.

These resources MUST have PEGA CSA or CSSA certification in order to be

We are in direct contact with the Director at the client, and he has
recently made this a requirement.
These BSA Lead resources must have at least 9 years of total IT experience,
and ideally will have 10+ years. The emphasis is on Functional-side
knowledge as opposed to developer-level skills.

Business Systems Analysis Lead (BPM):
The SA Lead on the project provides overall direction and guidance for the
SA team. This role should be able to participate in a lead role as well as a
member of a project team. This position requires hands on efforts as well as
providing direction for analysis, planning, Use Case development, test data
coordination, development support, and test support. This position also
interacts daily with the business partners so good communication skills are
required.

specifications and business requirements

Requirements
- Post-graduate degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent
experience
- 10+ years of experience with the System Development Life Cycle
- 10+ years of relational database experience
- Experience writing and executing functional specifications
Assets
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
- Proficiency with MS Visio
- Healthcare Industry experience
- Pega Certification Level CSA/CSSA is mandatory. Need to have Business
Process Management experience.

Job Description:
The applicants' duties are to design and author Cognos 8BI dashboards, reports, charts and queries requested by the ALICO actuarial group for the Federal Stress test project.
The candidate will work closely with O&S staff, Home office MIS, local Cognos administrator and local database administrators to meet the reporting needs for the Federal Stress test project.
The candidate MUST have prior experience working/ building reports with DMR (dimensionally modeled relational models).
As a Cognos Report Author the candidate will also be responsible for the successful Portal user training and mentoring of Cognos power users (Query Studio) and Cognos consumers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned.• Perform analysis of reporting requirements and convert functional specifications into appropriate technical specifications.
• Create DMR using Framework manager with levels and hierarchies.
• Create complex reports with multiple queries, conditional formatting, multiple filters etc.
• Create multiple detail drill through reports with complex formatting.
• Create analysis reports/graphs using a DMR (Dimensionally modeled relational) package.
• Maintain existing reports and perform modifications as deemed necessary.
• Perform changes to the Dimensional Framework Model based on reporting requirements.
• Create YTD, QTD and MTD reports and provide ability to do QTR/QTR, Year/Year comparisons
Required Technical Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years experience in developing management reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos 8BI 8.3, 8.4 and 10.1
The applicant should also have a basic understanding of OLAP cubes and underlying star schema designs.
The candidate must have a thorough understanding and knowledge of Framework manager and experience with Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL language and database objects, such as stored procedures and user defined functions.
Along with the Cognos authoring skills our candidate should also possess 1-3 years of Cognos administration skills and will work along side our seasoned Cognos Architect/Administrator as a back up for this position.
The candidate should be self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision in what can be a fast moving and pressured environment.
Multi-tasking skills are essential and a pro-active approach to the role is required. Good written and oral communication skills are a must as the role deals with all levels of management and staff.
