Technical/Functional Skills :
· Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnets, routing, access control lists, security, firewalls and network traffic analysis.
· Management and configuration of Cisco routers , Ethernet switches, Checkpoint firewall management, remote access via client VPN, OSPF, BGP, L2/L3 VLAN s, Fast/Gig ether-channel, L4 Load Balancers, ZebraOS, VTUN.
· WAN optimization devices in a multi-site architecture.
· Wireless networking technologies, Cisco WAPs, WPA/TKIP, Radius/EAP/Active Directory domain user authentication.
· Wide Area Network Telecommunications: Cisco 72xx, 36xx, 17xx, 25xx & 75xx routers, H.323, QoS, Metropolitan Area Networks,
· Network Applications: Firewalls (Checkpoint NG & Cisco PIX), FTP, Bind, ACE SecurID, Client VPN (Cisco), Rancid.
· Systems Administration: Unix & Linux network tools, Red Hat Linux kernel, SSH, Rancid.
· SNMP based Network Management: Cacti, protocol analysers, MRTG, Cricket.
· Authentication services: Radius, Secure ID Ace Server.
